JOB Description An Internship at IKO Productions, LLC will provide an educational opportunity for a highly motivated student who wishes to pursue a career in event production. The Intern will assist our experienced employees with in-shop activities and live performance audio events. Students will be provided with a spreadsheet that reflects the shop, show or office activity, assigned tasks, hours worked at each assignment and constructive feedback from the individual instructors. Learning Opportunities: · Strong mentoring · Hands on experience · Training Resources Suggested Activities: Additional activities may be assigned as needed In-Shop/Office Activities: · Setup, use and teardown of systems · Assist in inventory pull for shows · Load and unload transport vehicles · System maintenance · Inventory control · Truck maintenance Live Performance Audio Events: · Assist in setup, use and teardown of events · Loading and unloading of transport vehicles · Deployment of equipment at event venue · Cable runs · Input patching · Speaker array · Front of house set up and interface · Monitor setup and interface · Monitor placement · Mixing both house and monitor applications · Stand and microphone placement · Microphone utilization and application · Equalization and processing utilization and application · Delay zone placement and temporal timing · Console gain structure, routing, and feature set Administrative: All of IKO Productions, LLC full time employees hold administrative positions. To effectively understand event production, interns may be given in-office projects. · Calling and marketing to new clients · Data Entry · Copying Minimum Requirements/ Special Skills: · Minimum GPA: 3.0* · Enrolled at a College or University · Must be good at multitasking · Excellent written and verbal communication · Basic Computer skills
